Hot Jungle Licks
Technique by Ryan Carver // August 02 2007
These are two common licks used in jungle drum ‘n’ bass drumming. Start slow and practice each lick separately until it is played clean and consistent. Pay attention to the ghost notes making sure that they are played softly. When you are comfortable with each lick, start to use it in some grooves and speed it up. These two licks have a lot of applications.
