Understanding the Styles: Reggae

This month we continue our journey through the styles with reggae. There is not as much educational material on the market for reggae, as opposed to the other styles we have covered, so hopefully this lesson will be extra useful for you. Reggae is a fascinating music to play for me because of the uniqueness it involves. You have a lot of freedom but you have to stay within the context or the feel. Once again, make sure you listen to the music you are trying to play. As a drummer you can have fun with the sounds used in reggae.
