Virg'n it Up: Part III
Technique by Ryan Carver // September 02 2009
In the final part of these double bass lessons, inspired by Virgil Donati, I put together a little 12 bar solo using the patterns and phrases from the previous two lessons. This is an attempt to show you how to apply this stuff musically. Ultimately it is up to you to practice the patterns until comfortable and use them to help create music. Hopefully these ideas will open new doors for you and help you to express your own ideas on the drum set.
