Basic Brushes Part 3: Bass Drum Accents

In “Basic Brushes Part 2” I introduced accents while performing a basic brush pattern. If you haven’t checked it out I encourage you to do so.
In Part 3, I will use the medium tempo pattern as I did in part 2 and show you how you can employ the bass drum to spice it up. Both of my previous articles have the description of the medium brush pattern if you need to check it out. What’s great about using the bass drum for accents is that the brush pattern can remain undisturbed, allowing you to concentrate on swinging the pattern as much as possible!
